Detailed rules for participants registered for Transylvania 6 Days

Registration for the event will be done by filling out the form on the official website, and by paying the registration fee, within 15 days of completing the form. After paying the fee, the participants must send proof of payment by email to adrian [at] transylvania6days.ro, mentioning the name and surname, as well as the proof for which the fee was paid. All participants must present a medical certificate stating “The participant has no contraindications to running in competition.” The certificate must be presented on the day the participation kits are picked up.
For each running event in the event, 50 seats will be allocated. If during the registration process, there is a higher demand for a certain test, then the organizer reserves the right to supplement the number of seats for that test, thus limiting the number of seats in the remaining tests depending on the demand for them. These changes will be announced in advance.

The participation fees will be paid by bank transfer after completing the registration form, within 15 days, in one of the accounts listed below, specifying the name, surname and the choice of your racing event. The bank accounts are opened at Banca Transilvania, Targu-Mures branch, and these are the following:

After paying the fee, the participants have the obligation to send a confirmation email to adrian [at] transylvania6days.ro with the proof of payment.
The delivery of the kits will be done in person, after verifying the personal data and the registration procedure (list of participants, participation fee and medical certificate). The kits will be distributed in a specially arranged area within the sports base, one day before the start of each event. The technical meetings will take place after the kits are handed over. The minimum content of the participation package will consist of a technical T-shirt, competition number, returnable electronic chip and leaflets with information related to the event. Participants must wear the competition number throughout the tests in which they are registered and be visible.

The duration of the technical sessions will be about 1 hour, then the participants are invited to the “pasta party“.
The counting of the laps completed by the participants will be ensured by a chip timing system. The chips will be worn on the ankle of the foot, which will be activated each time you pass through the start / finish gate, and the number of laps / kilometers traveled will be seen in real time. Real-time rankings will be available on LCD screens in the start / finish area for each event and on the event website. There will be a checkpoint along the route, which will check the passage through it. If a participant does not pass this checkpoint, the turn will not be considered, and the participant will receive a warning. Upon two warnings received for this reason, the participant will be disqualified from the competition.
The final rankings for the 144h, 72h, 48h, 24h and 12h tests are established according to the number of kilometers of done by each participant.
The route on which the competition will take place is a loop type route, and has a length of 0.8424 km. The start / finish area will be arranged inside the sports base. The running surface consists of slag inside the sports base, and asphalt outside the sports base. The level difference is 0 m. If a participant wishes to leave the running route, he must notify the technical team from the timing in advance and re-enter the route from the place where he left it.
The accommodation of the participants registered for the 144h event will be reserved in rooms within limited availability, with 2-4 places each, or inside the sports hall. For those registered to the 72h, 48h, 24h and 12h events sleeping areas will be available inside the sports hall . All participants, regardless of the event in which they are registered, can also opt for accommodation in their own tent, there is an existing camping place. The participants companion if any will not be provided with accommodation by the organizers, as they will be able to stay in their own tents in the camping area.
Access to showers and toilets will be provided throughout the event.
Meals will be served in designated areas within the sports center.
– Breakfast will be served between 07:00 – 08:00, daily from June 29.
– Lunch will be served daily from 14:00 starting from June 30.
– Dinner will be served from 22:00 starting June 29.
The meal program includes the accompanying persons of the 144h participants. At the end of the trials, and after the awards ceremony, all participants, including their companions will be invited to a festive meal on 05.07.2025 starting at 15:00.
For setting the menus, participants can choose between two menu options, “vegan” or “non-vegan”, in the registration form. Menu composition will be announced after June 20, 2025.
It will take place on 05.07.2025 starting at 13:30, and will last for approximately 1.5 hours.
All participants will receive finisher medals and personalized diplomas. The open categories from each event, female and male, will be awarded, offering trophies to the top 3 in each category.
After the start / finish area, a hydration point will be set up, with cold and hot drinks, fruits and snacks, which will be permanently provided. The common rest area will be set up near this area. Area where the participants can leave their personal belongings that they need during the races, and it will be arranged with benches, chairs and tables.
In the accommodation spaces, the start / finish area, the food point, the common rest area and inside the sports base, the access will be possible only for participants, organizers, volunteers, companions of the participants, guests, partners, media. Access, in addition to participants and organizers, will be based on a bracelet or invitation. The bracelets for the attendants will be handed over to them, when picking up the participation kits.
A doctor and a nurse will be present throughout the event, and will intervene whenever needed. They reserve the right to temporarily suspend a participant during the competition for medical investigations.
For shortening the route or unsportsmanlike conduct towards other people involved in the event, a warning will be given. For two warnings given for the same reason, the participant will be excluded from the competition.
Physical violence is not tolerated in any form, it is sanctioned with exclusion from the competition without any warning.
If the event will no longer take place, for various reasons independent or dependent on the organizer, participants who have paid the participation fees can choose to reimburse in full the amount they paid, or register for the next edition. If a participant cannot attend the event, but has paid the registration fee, it is non-refundable, but you can choose to register to a future edition.
To be able to participate in one of the event’s trials, participants must be at least 16 years old on the date of its start and with the consent of their parents or guardian for those who have not reached the age of 18.
At the time of registration, participants authorize the organizer to use their name, surname, pictures with them and data related to their performance, in order to promote the event.
Each registered competitor participating in “Transylvania 6 Days” declares that he / she acknowledges the above regulations and agrees to accept all the terms.
